Yesterday, June 30, Vinnitsa activist Taisa Gayda, who headed the NGO Automaidan Vinnytsia, died of significant burns on the body in the hospital, is a representative of the Chest movement, coordinator of the Veteran Prostor volunteer center. This was reported on social networks by like-minded people and friends of Taisa, as well as Vinnytsia media.
“We lost Taya … Her brave heart stopped beating … She could overcome all her paths! She broke the light in the dark tunnel of corruption and fraud at the highest level! She helped the front, our soldiers, the Sick! He did a million important things for Ukraine and for Ukrainians! Taya loves people – honest and brave, that’s who he is!” – written by activists of the NGO he leads.
It is reported that the burns Taisa received were not related to her professional and social activities – it was an accident. From various sources, it became known that Taisa Gaida was on vacation, cooking on an open fire, and received burns through negligence – a gasoline canister exploded.
With burns on almost 70% of his body, he was first taken to a burn center in Vinnitsa, then taken to Lviv, and from there – after stabilizing his condition – they were taken to Poland, but the activist was not saved.
