An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale hit the Indonesian island of Java on the night of June 30. As a result, at least 10 people were injured and one person died. This was reported by the National Disaster Management Council of Indonesia.

The earthquake struck at a depth of 25 km and was felt in several cities in the Yogyakarta region, as well as in east and central Java, Indonesia’s most populous island, according to the Indonesian Geophysical Agency. The tremors did not cause a tsunami.
It will be remembered that on June 18, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 occurred in the Gulf of California.
It was also reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale was recorded in the city of Arad in western Romania.
