The world’s reaction to the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station “does not match the terrorist attack that Ukraine has experienced,” the NSDC secretary said.
The civilized world will recognize the terrorist act of the Russian occupiers at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant as the use of nuclear weapons against the civilian population. This was said by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov on the air of Radio Liberty.
“The very fact that these terrorists committed such a terrorist act in a nuclear facility would be regarded by all civilized nations as the use of nuclear weapons against the civilian population. Therefore, let’s watch carefully, God forbid for this to happen, what will be the world’s reaction to these events,” said Danilov.
He added that the world’s reaction to the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station “does not match the terrorist attack that Ukraine has experienced.”
At the same time, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council said that Kyiv is doing “everything possible and impossible” to prevent this terrorist attack.
“However, the nuclear power plant is in the hands of terrorists,” he said.
Commenting on the possibility of a terrorist attack by the Russians on the ZNPP, he noted that “it is difficult to say now, because these people are unpredictable, they act outside any norms and rules of the world community.”
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council added that after information about the alleged terrorist attack in Ukraine, they conducted a “massive exercise” and had “another exercise.”
“We have protocols, our plans, how we should act. Many exercises have taken place now, another exercise has taken place if this terrorist act of the Russian Federation happens,” said Danilov.
Earlier it was reported that in Zaporizhia and the Zaporizhzhia region, special exercises are starting in case of a possible emergency at the Zaporozhye NPP.
It should be recalled that Grossi assessed the water level situation in the Zaporizhia NPP cooling unit.
