Less than a week later, Wagner almost reached Moscow, and for Putin’s officials, this is already “no louder than a brawl.”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was asked if the situation in Russia is stable amid the rebellion of the founder of the Wagner Party, Yevgeny Prigozhin.
We are not obliged to explain anything to anyone, to give any assurances, we act transparently, the president spoke on this topic, all the political forces of our country spoke on this topic. If someone in the West doubts, that’s your problem. Russia has always come out of any troubles, and it’s hard to call it louder than troubles, it turned out stronger,” Putin’s Ribbentrop replied.
According to Lavrov, “the Russian authorities are not obliged to give explanations to anyone about the attempted rebellion.”
The head of the so-called Russian Foreign Ministry stated this at a press conference, answering questions from a Western journalist about whether the situation in Russia is stable amid the rebellion.
Recall that the leader and founder of the PKK “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin rebelled on June 23, after which the group’s mercenaries entered Rostov-on-Don without resistance. Part of the mercenaries headed along the federal highway towards Moscow, destroying several planes and helicopters of the Russian Defense Ministry along the way.
According to Prigozhin, the PIK fighters stopped 200 km from Moscow. With the participation of Alexander Lukashenko, Prigozhin agreed to take the Wagner mercenaries to the camps. After the attempted rebellion, the Russian FSB opened a criminal case, but soon closed it.
Since Prigozhin’s rebellion, trust in Putin has dropped by 9-14%, sources told Meduza. According to them, such data was presented on June 29 at a video conference for Russian embassies and regional politicians, which was held by the administration of the President of Russia.
