This is reported by the American Institute for the Study of War in a daily report.
On June 28, Ukrainian and Russian troops carried out a number of local attacks south of Kremennaya. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the invaders carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the Belogorovka area (10 km south of Kremennaya). The Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced north of Orekhovo-Vasilyevka (11 km northwest of Bakhmut).
On June 27, Russian war criminals also launched a missile attack on Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region. Russian propagandists attempted to justify the strike by claiming that Ukrainian commanders were in the restaurant, although ISW experts found no evidence to support this claim.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine also continued the counteroffensive in the western part of the Zaporozhye region. According to Russian propaganda media, Ukrainian troops tried to attack southeast of Orekhov in the Lugovskoye area and in the direction of Robotino. Russian sources claimed that on June 27 and 28, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out limited reconnaissance attacks on the left bank of the Dnieper near the Antonovsky Bridge.
