The highest task of the Russian Federation is to stop the Ukrainian offensive at any cost. And the minimum task is to significantly complicate it.
Now the highest task for Russia is to stop the Ukrainian offensive by any means. This was stated by Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Malyar on Telegram on June 26.
“The task of the Russian Federation today is to stop our offensive at any cost. By exploding dams, mining fields, continuous shelling, sabotage, information pressure and even “nuclear” rhetoric. This is supreme task,” he wrote.
According to Malyar, the “minimum” task of the invaders was to significantly complicate and also slow down the advance of the defenders of Ukraine and, meanwhile, prepare their own counteroffensive.
“The motivation to ‘not lose’ conquered lands will be stronger than the motivation to ‘seize’ our lands. Because this is their mental eternal trauma. They psychologically endure an unsuccessful offensive more easier than losing conquered lands. It weakens morale. and degrades them irretrievably,” he said. Deputy Minister of Defense.
Malyar also noted that the conquerors “then will not gather their army among themselves, because the fighters, as in the Kharkiv region, will begin to strongly refuse to obey orders.”
The Deputy Minister stressed that it is “really difficult” for the Ukrainian troops now, but they are moving forward with confidence.
Recall that the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue the counter-offensive and have already liberated nine settlements. In particular, the Ministry of Defense reported the liberation of the village of Rivnopol in the Donetsk region.
