The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation was in a panic mood after the rebellion of the Cheka Wagner. Personnel decisions may be announced as early as Monday.
Panic prevailed in the atmosphere of the Minister of Defense of Russia, and he himself was isolated. This was announced on Sunday evening, June 26, by the Russian Telegram channel of the Cheka-OGPU, citing sources.
According to them, a formed operational-investigative group is now working.
“The mood around Shoigu is one of panic. He himself is isolated. Tomorrow they can announce personnel decisions,” the June 25 report said.
At the same time, other Russian publications previously wrote that the Russian Colonel General and Governor of the Tula Region Alexei Dyumin may be appointed to the post of the head of the Ministry of Defense. Between 1999 and 2007 he was Putin’s bodyguard.
The Cheka-OGPU had previously reported that Dyumin negotiated with Prigozhin and Utkin. Putin also promised to “resolve the issue” of Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov.
Recall that PMC leader Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin staged a military coup. Columns of “Wagnerites” moved to Moscow. But after negotiations with the leader of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, he returned the units to the field camps. And the Kremlin promised to drop the criminal case against Prigozhin.
