The Russian invaders built a pontoon crossing after a rocket attack yesterday, June 22, on the Chongar bridge connecting Crimea with mainland Ukraine.
This is evidenced by the pictures taken today, June, by the Planet Labs satellite, according to the Telegram channel of the Radio Liberty Schema project.
In the pictures you can see that the pontoon crossing was built under the bridge. The images also show traces of shelling – on the Chongarsky bridge and another one next to it.
The fact that the occupiers closed the crossing after the strike is evidenced by satellite images taken earlier. For example, for May 18, – they note in Schemes.
The occupiers used the road through Chongar to “feed” their group in southern Ukraine with fuel, ammunition and personnel, it was considered the most convenient route for this.
Russian “military correspondents” reported that about 70% of all military and civilian traffic went through this route.
