PMC Wagner acquired Rostov-on-Don – social networks

Local authorities are urging people not to leave their homes unnecessarily. A large number of photos and videos of military equipment on the streets of the city appeared on social networks.

Russian Rostov-on-Don was filled with military equipment, which, in particular, was confined to the headquarters building of the Southern Military District. On social networks, it was reported that the city was allegedly acquired by PMC Wagner.

Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev urged people not to leave their homes unnecessarily.

“The current situation requires the maximum concentration of all forces to maintain order. Law enforcement agencies are doing everything necessary to ensure the safety of the residents of the region. I ask everyone to remain calm and not leave the house unnecessarily,” said Golubev.

Earlier, the head of the PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that his mercenaries were entering Rostov, and that the Russian border guards did not fight back.

Subsequently, a large number of photos and videos of military equipment on the streets of the city appeared on social networks.

It will be remembered that Prigozhin said that his mercenaries shot down two helicopters of the Russian Defense Ministry.
