The Turkish National Defense Minister Yasar Güler and the Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov had a telephone conversation, which was mainly concerned with the “grain corridor”, the press service of the Turkish Defense Ministry reported.
“The importance of uninterrupted work and uninterrupted continuation of the “grain initiative”, which makes a great contribution to the solution of the global food crisis and the benefit of all humanity, was mentioned.
The Turkish side assured that it will continue to contribute to ensuring peace and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, in particular, on the issue of extending the grain agreement, which will end on July 17.
Reznikov knowthat Ukraine looks forward to strengthening cooperation to restore security and stability in the region.
It was previously reported that Russia with a 99.9% probability will withdraw from the grain deal in July.
