The 840 million euros allocated in the memorandum will be directed to the preparation, evaluation, financing and implementation of rehabilitation projects: municipal infrastructure (schools, hospitals, etc.), public buildings, taking into account energy efficiency, water supply and sanitation, transportation networks and public transportation in the city.
Britain and the United States will increase support for Ukraine
The UK will provide a $3 billion financial support package to Ukraine with World Bank loan guarantees and £240 million ($305 million) in bilateral aid. Part of the money should be spent on demining the Ukrainian territory, energy projects, as well as financing the activities of the UN and the Red Cross.
The United States will allocate an additional $1.3 billion for the reconstruction of Ukraine. The US is investing about $520 million to rebuild Ukraine’s critical energy infrastructure.
