Singh stressed that Ukrainian soldiers are capable of achieving success in counter-offensive operations.
“We understand that the battle will be tough, the Russians will adapt, but the Ukrainians will also adapt,” he said.
The Pentagon spokesman recalled that last week a meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine was held, where the participants announced new packages of military support for Kyiv.
“We believe we have given Ukraine the systems and capabilities they need to fight today,” he added.
Remember, on June 9, the United States announced the provision of weapons to Ukraine for $ 2 billion. This package includes critical air defense systems and munitions, including for Patriot systems.
