He said that the units of the missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine completed 1,794 fire missions during the day. The loss of Russians killed and wounded amounted to more than five companies.
The quantitative composition of the company is different depending on the type of troops. For example, a motorized rifle company of the Russian army consists of 110 people, an air assault company of 75, and a tank company of 30 to 40 soldiers.
According to Tarnavsky, over the past day in the Tauride direction, the defenders of Ukraine destroyed or damaged 88 units of Russian military equipment. We are talking about a Ka-52 helicopter, 11 tanks, 20 infantry fighting vehicles, two armored personnel carriers, three 2A65 Msta-S howitzers, a 2A65 Msta-B howitzer, Zala and Orlan-10 drones, Shahed-136 kamikaze drones, MLRS BM-21 “Grad”, electronic warfare “Resident”, four self-propelled guns “Akatsiya”, self-propelled guns “Carnation”, multiple launch rocket system “Solntsepek”.
Five enemy ammunition storage sites were also destroyed. Currently, the Ukrainian army is conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Berdyansk and Mariupol directions.
Syrsky said that the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is correcting plans for Bakhmut because of the “desperate resistance” of the invaders.
