The majority of respondents (86%) said that nuclear weapons should not be used under any circumstances. While 10% of respondents believe that it should be applied by the Russian Federation.

The survey was conducted on May 25-31 among 1603 people. The study was conducted in the respondent’s home through personal interviews.

It was previously reported that the Russians were losing interest in the war against Ukraine. Thus, the interest of the inhabitants of the Russian Federation for more than a year of war decreased from 75% in March 2022 to 17% in April 2023.
