Russian media are spreading information that the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, is allegedly in a hospital in Berlin after a “Russian missile” hit the office next to him.

The Russians came up with a fable about Budanov being “severely wounded” and about how he was taken by helicopter to Poland, and then by an American evacuation board to Germany.
At the same time, on the day of the imaginary bombardment of the GUR, on May 29, our military intelligence published a video in which the peppy Budanov says:
I want to upset you: everyone, as they were, are still at their jobs and continue to do their job.
In a comment to Babel, GUR spokesman Andrey Yusov denied such claims, refusing to comment on “Putin’s propaganda.”
