Before the explosion, a train from Dneprorudny was moving along the road. Five wagons carrying stolen iron ore derailed. As of June 14, the logistical route of the Russians in this area is blocked. The command of the occupiers has already rounded up the military to search for the saboteurs who blew up the track. The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, announced this on Telegram.
According to him, thanks to a wide network of railways and a junction station, the enemy turned Melitopol into a center for transporting military personnel and equipment to the combat zone of the Zaporozhye region. By rail, the invaders take out the loot from the front-line settlements in the direction of the Crimea or Novoazovsk.
Recall that on June 11, in the temporarily occupied village of Akimovka, Zaporozhye region, partisans blew up the railway bridge, which the Russian military used to supply weapons.
