The Russian Federation’s military aggression against Ukraine will stop when the West stops supplying weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Kremlin leader said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin called the key to ending the war against Ukraine. For this, in his opinion, the West should stop providing military aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Kremlin leader said this at a meeting with so-called “military correspondents” on Tuesday, June 13.
“The key to solving the problem in their (West, – ed.) edge. If they really want to resolve the “conflict” now through negotiations, they only need to make one decision – to stop the supply of weapons and equipment,” Putin said.
According to him, “Ukraine will immediately return to the peace negotiating table as soon as the West stops providing weapons.”
At the same time, Putin emphasized that “Moscow has never refused to conduct any negotiations that could lead to a peaceful settlement of the situation in Ukraine.”
It was previously reported that Putin was confused about going to war with Ukraine. According to him, the goals of war change, but at the same time remain the same.
It will be remembered, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, said that any negotiation process with the current Russian regime is impossible.
