Among the equipment received are switches and routers, as well as other technical equipment and software.
The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection received equipment for the needs of the National Telecommunications Network within the framework of the EU4DigitalUA project funded by the European Union. This was reported by the press service of the department.
“In cooperation with Ukraine, we aim to strengthen its digital infrastructure, protect its critical information resources and the well-being of citizens,” said Xavier Camus, Head of the EU Delegation’s Governance and Rule of Law Section in Ukraine.
Among the equipment received are switches and routers, as well as other technical equipment and software. This will allow further improvement of the National Telecommunications Network and improve its resilience in the face of war against Ukraine and multiple attacks on infrastructure using missiles and drones.
Also, state bodies and institutions will have strong connections, will be able to perform their duties and provide public services to millions of Ukrainian citizens and businesses.
Recall that Ukraine remains in the first place in the world in terms of the number of cyber attacks against it.
