“I have no right to fish without a license,” Jimmy Kimmel said in the opening monologue on Thursday. “It shouldn’t be easier to get an AR-15 than rainbow trout.”
“Long live Jimmy Kimmel!” The host again sued Republican lawmakers for obstructing gun control following this week’s mass shooting in Walde, Texas, that killed 19 children and two adults. And Kimmel saved some harsh comments for longtime opponent, Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who this week called on schools to just have one door in and out.
“Guns are probably not a problem. “It’s a problem at the door,” Kimmel said. “Open the doors. It makes perfect sense. “
Kimmel offered to make this door an “exit” to confuse mass shooters.
“They will see the sign, they will turn right. “There’s going to be no problem,” Kimmel said. “And Ted knows a lot about doors. As you know, the gates are where he leaves the dog, where he cools down and runs to Cancun like Cruzela de Villy.
What Kimmel was referring to was the time Cruz fled to Texas when the winter weather caused massive power outages. Before Cruz flew to Cancun, they saw a family dog, Snow White, staring at the door.
Kimmel gave Cruz some cutting edge advice.
“What a stupid wrong idea,” Kimmel said. “Listen, Ted, I know you’d rather spend your days at work Impressions” The Simpsons and the Stepmother in Google Porn, but at some point you may need to do it and do your job – and the doors won’t . ”
