During the meeting, we will discuss the details of the “aircraft coalition”. In this case, we are talking about the training of pilots and not only pilots, but also our technicians and engineers who will be involved in aircraft maintenance. Because it is a very complex system. Substantive issues will be discussed with the teams of the ministries of defense of the Netherlands, Denmark, the United States and other countries that have joined this coalition,” Reznikov said.
The head of the Ministry of Defense noted that representatives of the Ukrainian Air Force were excluded from the Ukrainian delegation.

Also at the meeting in the Ramstein format, they will discuss the strengthening of Ukrainian air defense, the supply of shells to artillery, and the ability to repair and maintain equipment and weapons transferred to Ukraine as part of military assistance.
Important issues for us are the opening of various types of hubs for the repair and equipment of equipment. Both on the territory of Ukraine, together with partners, and in friendly border countries, the head of the defense department noted.
Earlier, the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda, said that Ukraine in the first wave will send its best pilots, who have passed a tough selection, to learn how to fly F-16 fighters.
The pilots are already, as they say, at a low start, the first wave has been selected – the best pilots who have combat experience, have hundreds of flight hours, speak English and are young, – Ignat noted.
We will remind, earlier the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that a certain number of countries have confirmed that they will provide Ukraine with their F-16 fighters.
