This was reported by Ukrainian volunteers.
According to them, the city was closed to entry and exit. Volunteers claim that employees of the Russian special services arrived in the Kherson region, who may be going to “filter” civilians (this has not been confirmed). Volunteers say that due to the closure of Naked Pristan, they will not be able to transfer humanitarian aid to local residents.
One of the coordinators of the largest volunteer chat for the evacuation of the inhabitants of the left bank of the Dnieper told the Russian edition of Agency that on June 10, according to local residents, the military drove through the flooded city, they warned from behind a loudspeaker that on June 11 Naked Pristan would be closed for quarantine.
An unnamed source of the “Agency” among the volunteers said that the decision to introduce quarantine has been made.
Volunteers suggest that in areas affected by the disaster at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, there may be many dead. After the hydroelectric dam broke, the volunteers said that the Russian Ministry of Taxes refused to let them into one of the flooded streets of the city of Oleshki, where the dead could have been, and the next day refused to let them into the city itself.
According to the latest data from Ukraine, six people died due to flooding. The Russian-appointed “authority” of the Kherson region said that eight people had died.
To date, the Ukrainian authorities have managed to evacuate 112 people from the flooded territories on the left bank of the Kherson region. Among them are 54 women and seven children. The head of the OVA, Alexander Prokudin, cannot yet disclose the details of the rescue operation.
