In particular:
- Ukraine continues to lose water. As of the morning of June 10, 62% of its volume, or 12.24 cubic meters, has flown from the Kakhovka reservoir. km of water. The water level in the reservoir is already 10.55 m and continues to decline;
- The situation in the national parks is critical. 30% of the nature reserve fund of Kherson is under the threat of extinction. Water from the Kakhovka reservoir leveled the Nizhnedneprovsky National Park with a water mirror. Shallowing of the water area continues in the national parks “Veliky Lug” (by 4.2 m) and “Kamenskaya Sich” (by 6 m);
- Russian-occupied Oleshkovsky sands are threatened by rising groundwater. About 1.2 thousand hectares of the territory of the Kinburn Peninsula have already been flooded due to the dam failure of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.
The minister noted that fixing the crimes of the occupiers at the site of the environmental disaster continues.
