Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine professionally worked out from the M109A6 Paladin self-propelled howitzer of 155 mm caliber. They brilliantly destroyed a heavy Russian system of 220 mm caliber. It happened on Friday, June 9, in the Zaporozhye direction. This was reported by Ukrainian Telegram channels.
Meanwhile, the Telegram channel “Armed Forces of Ukraine. War with the invaders” reported that two “Sontsepek” systems had been destroyed in the Tauride direction over the past two days.
As you know, М109А6 Paladin is an American tracked self-propelled howitzer. The Palladins are manufactured by BAE Systems and entered service with the US Army in the mid-1990s. The main armament of this self-propelled gun is a 155-mm M284 howitzer with a barrel length of 39 calibers, mounted in a turret on an M182 cannon carriage.
Recall that the command of the Defense Forces said that more than four companies of the Russian military were destroyed in the Tauride direction. The military losses of the enemy also amount to 61 units of destroyed and damaged military equipment.
