In Ukraine, as of this morning, June 8, 486 children have already died and at least 1,009 have been injured to varying degrees as a result of a full-scale Russian invasion.

This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General with reference to the data of juvenile prosecutors.
These figures are not final. Work is underway to install them in places of warfare, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories, the department notes.
Children in the following regions suffered the most:
- Donetsk region – 464;
- Kharkiv region – 283;
- Kyiv region – 128;
- Kherson region – 105;
- Zaporozhye region – 91;
- Mykolaiv region – 89;
- Dnepropetrovsk region – 80;
- Chernihiv region – 71;
- Lugansk region – 67.
In particular, it was established that yesterday, June 7, as a result of artillery shelling of the city of the Ukrainian Donetsk region, a four-year-old boy was killed and four children aged three to 13 were injured.
