The head of Zaporozhye Regional Military Administration, Yuriy Malashko, said that the situation at Zaporizhzhya NPP is under control.
“I encourage residents of the Zaporozhye region to remain calm and trust only verified information. The situation at the Zaporozhye NPP is under control, the radiation background is stable. The tanks are filled to a normal technical level ,” he says.
According to Malashko, specialists developed a list of measures and relevant instructions on how ZNPP personnel should act to ensure the safety of the plant.
At the same time, the Energodar mayor’s office advises citizens to leave the city, as the situation at the Zaporozhye NPP could get out of control at any moment.
