The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled eight Russian attacks in the Donbas

In the past day, Ukrainian servicemen from the Joint Forces Group repelled eight enemy attacks. The battle still continues in five locations. This was announced on Friday, May 27, at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“Ukraine’s defenders and defenders from the Joint Forces group have repelled eight enemy attacks today. The fighting is still going on in five locations. Our brave fighters are inflicting losses on the Russian occupiers in manpower and equipment, ”the report said.

According to the Ukrainian military, five Russian tanks, 10 units of armored vehicles, four enemy vehicles (one of which had ammunition) and an Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle were destroyed in the Donbas in one day.

At the same time, the occupiers fired on 49 communities in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. In the Donetsk region alone, 22 civilian facilities were destroyed and damaged.

As a result of these attacks, three civilians were killed, five more were wounded and wounded of varying severity. The data refers to deaths, damage and injuries in the Lugansk region.

Up to 60 occupiers of the aggressor country, as well as five pieces of equipment, were destroyed in the area of ​​responsibility of the operational-tactical grouping Skhid.

It was previously reported that in the Donetsk region on May 27, Ukrainian defenders “occupied” the advanced command post of enemy forces, where there were more than 20 senior Russian officials.
