So, on June 2, about 40 servicemen of the Russian armed forces deserted, leaving their positions in Svatovo, Luhansk region. To search for the invaders, the Russian command used two helicopters and a unit of the National Guard. This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for June 4.
The General Staff added that 23 combat clashes took place at the front on June 3. Aviation of the Air Force 11 strikes against personnel concentration areas, as well as six against enemy anti-aircraft missile systems. The military destroyed six enemy reconnaissance UAVs, as well as two attack drones of the Lancet type.
Over the past 24 hours, missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a command post, an anti-aircraft missile system, six artillery units in firing positions, and three enemy ammunition trains.
Recall, according to British intelligence, during the war with Ukraine, Russian landing troops have greatly degraded and lost their “elite” status. However, even taking this into account, the Russian command is trying to preserve part of this more professional reserve.
