American company Global Military Products Inc. signed a contract with the US Department of Defense in the amount of 118.3 million dollars. The contract provides for the supply of Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns to the armed forces of Ukraine.

The contract will be executed in Jordanian Amman. Estimated completion date is May 30, 2024.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken confirmed that Kyiv can count on Washington’s support.
Ukraine can count on a powerful package of political and practical support following the NATO summit in July, Blinken said.
According to him, the allies will also continue to work to improve the interoperability of the Ukrainian army with NATO armies and bring Ukraine closer to the standards of the North Atlantic Alliance.
