The other day, Russian opposition politician Boris Nadezhdin spoke on Russia’s NTV channel and called for the election of a new president in 2024.
British Ministry of Defence reportedthat Russian opposition politicians have succeeded in banning criticism of Vladimir Putin. This was facilitated by the sharp rhetoric of national patriots and Yevgeny Prigozhin.
It was noted that the other day, Russian opposition politician Boris Nadezhdin spoke on Russia’s NTV channel and called for the election of a new president in 2024 to resume normal relations with Europe.
Nadezhdin has been openly critical of the war since the invasion.
According to intelligence, this is likely to be the first call for Putin’s replacement on Russian state television since the start of the great war.
“In the past 15 months, restrictions on freedom of speech not seen since the Soviet era have been introduced in Russia. However, there is a real possibility that the recent harsh rhetoric of nationalist figures, such as Yevgeny Prigozhin, owner of the Wagner group, is encouraging the opposition to break the taboo,” the intelligence agency said.
It was previously reported that the head of PMC Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, is using his influence in the Russian media sphere to present himself as a candidate for the 2024 presidential election.
Recall that the Russian terrorist Strelkov-Girkin hinted at a coup d’état and a civil war in Russia at the end of this summer.
