Three border guards died in an accident in Volyn.

The fatal accident occurred on the evening of May 31 at the entrance to the village of Zgorany near the border.
A soldier of the Kramatorsk border detachment, who was driving a car, lost control and drove into the oncoming lane and crashed into another car, Volyn Online and Volyn News reported.
The military driver and two of his passengers, also servicemen of the same border detachment, were killed. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with injuries.
The second car was driven by the director of the Shatsk Forest College named after Sulk.
In July 2022, the accident occurred on the evening of July 27 at a temporary checkpoint at the entrance to Novovolynsk. The passenger car, driven by a 21-year-old sergeant of the patrol police response sector, wanted to go around the car, which was already being checked at the checkpoint, but ran into a policeman and a National Guardsman. Both died at the scene of the accident.
