The UAV attack on Moscow cannot be compared to the shelling of Ukraine – UN

There is no way to compare the drone attack in Moscow with the ongoing shelling of Ukraine.

Comparing the drone attack in Moscow to the ongoing shelling of Russian troops in Ukraine is incorrect. This was announced in a briefing on Tuesday, May 30, by the Speaker of the UN Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric.

He noted that the UN condemned any attack on civilian objects.

“But you can’t compare the drone attack in Moscow with the ongoing shelling of Ukraine,” Dujarric said.

Recall that on Tuesday, Russia’s 17th air strike on Kyiv this month was carried out, mainly on civilian areas,” said a White House spokesman.

On the same morning, Moscow and the Moscow region were attacked by drones. As a result, several buildings received minor damage, and two civilians were slightly injured.

Ukrainian authorities have denied the Russian accusations. The Office of the President noted that the incident may be due to the fact that “some of the devices want to return to their creators.”
