Trubitsyn has twice failed to appear at the court session, as he left Ukraine and now his whereabouts are unknown. The prosecution will also demand payment of the entire bail in the amount of UAH 10 million 886 thousand to the state revenue and will apply for a preventive measure in the form of detention as soon as he is detained.
In early February 2022, under Trubitsyn, a bail was made in the amount of UAH 14 million 886 thousand. Subsequently, the determination of the investigator judge reduced the amount of bail to UAH 10 million 886 thousand – UAH 2 million was transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and UAH 2 million was returned to the pledger. In June 2022, the amount of the pledge was reduced to UAH 9 million 886 thousand – UAH 1 million was returned to the pledger.
At present, the prosecutor has prepared two motions: on an international wanted list and a motion on converting the bail into state revenue. On May 30, Trubitsyn’s lawyers terminated his defense. The court adjourned the hearing until 13:00 on Monday, June 5, and instructed the regional Center for Pro bono Legal Aid to appoint a lawyer for Trubitsyn.
Recall that 40-year-old Vladislav Trubitsyn is a deputy of the Kyiv City Council of the IX convocation from the Servant of the People party, the head of the Kiev City Council Commission on Entrepreneurship, Industry and Urban Improvement. After the suspicion, Trubitsyn only suspended his membership in the party, but at the same time remained the head of the standing commission.
