The drone attack on the Russian capital is “a clear sign of terrorist activity,” the Kremlin leader said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the drone attack in Moscow and threatened the Ukrainians with a “mirror response”. He said this on Tuesday, May 30.
The head of the Russian regime noted that he was concerned about “attempts to provoke a response from Russia.”
“Most likely, this is calculated: they are provoking us to mirror actions … But we will see what will be done with it,” he said and added that the drone attack in Moscow was “a clear sign of terrorist activity.”
In addition, Putin repeated the propaganda narrative that it was not Russia that unleashed the 2014 war, but Kyiv.
“No matter what we say, the culprit will be found in Russia, but it was not us who unleashed the war in 2014, but the Kiev regime,” the Russian president said mockingly.
Recall that this morning Moscow and the Moscow region were attacked by drones. As a result, several buildings received minor damage, with two civilians slightly injured. Russia’s Defense Ministry counted eight drones and said all of them were shot down by air defense or intercepted by electronic warfare, lost control and deviated from their intended targets. Social media reported that there were at least 25 drones.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian side denied Moscow’s accusations. And Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, expressed confidence that some drones are smarter than Russian politicians.
