Explosions and evacuations. Drone attack on Moscow

This morning, Moscow was widely attacked by drones. The elite Rublyovka and Putin’s residence were also targeted.

In Moscow on the morning of Tuesday, May 30, local residents began to report massive drone attacks in the city. Drones crashed into apartment buildings in the capital of the Russian Federation, and loud explosions were heard in the Moscow region.

The situation in Moscow and the region

In total, the drones hit three residential buildings in the Russian capital: on Profsoyuznaya Street, on Atlasova Street in New Moscow and on Leninsky Prospekt.

The explosions occurred on Atlasova Street in New Moscow around 4:30 am. According to RosSMI, the UAV crashed on the 25th floor of one of the houses. As a result, windows were broken in several nearby apartments.

Another drone previously flew over another house on Profsoyuznaya Street in Moscow. The UAV crashed into a window on the 16th floor, the windows were broken, residents were evacuated.

The attack on the Russian capital did not end there. Another drone crashed into a high-rise on Leninsky Prospekt. He flew through the window of one of the apartments, and about 300 people were also evacuated.

“This early morning, as a result of the UAV attack, minor damage occurred to several houses. All emergency services of the city are on the scene. They are investigating the circumstances of the incident. Currently, no one is seriously injured,” Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote.

Residents of the Moscow region were also restless this morning, as they also woke up from the sounds of explosions. In general, the reaction of the Russians was short-lived. They publish videos of “arrivals” and flying drones on Telegram channels and social networks.

“This morning, residents of some areas of the Moscow region could hear the sounds of explosions – this is our air defense. Several drones were shot down while approaching Moscow. I ask residents to remain calm,” Moscow Region said Governor Andrey Vorobyov.

Under the gun – the elite Rublyovka and residence of Putin

Interestingly, the “incredible” air defense of the Russians made it so unreliable that the drones flew over the elite Rublyovka, located 20 km from Moscow, where officials and wealthy people of Russian Federation.

According to Russian publics on Telegram, five drones were shot down in Rublyovka alone. In total, 13 UAVs were fired in the Moscow region.

RosSMI also reported that, according to a published list of drone crash sites in the Moscow region, one of them was allegedly shot down near the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In particular, one of the drones was shot over the village of Razdory near Moscow, which is part of Rublyovka, where state dachas, personal homes of officials and businessmen are located. And after a 10-minute drive from there, in the village of Usovo, Putin’s Novo-Ogaryovo residence is located, propagandists pointed out.

What are these drones?

According to Russian media and eyewitnesses, more than 30 drones attacked Moscow and the Moscow region, but according to the tradition of the Russian Defense Ministry they shot them all down. So, according to their information, eight drones were shot down in Moscow itself, five more UAVs were liquidated by the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and gun system in the Moscow region, of which three allegedly lost control and deviate from their intended targets. .

Despite this, in Moscow, after the drone attack, satellite navigation signals began to be jammed. Drivers and taxi drivers complain about GPS malfunctions. And for Russian law enforcement officials, the Storm plan was announced – the collection of personnel involved in eliminating the consequences of an emergency.

As suggested by RosSMI, one of the drones that attacked Moscow today was the Ukrainian UJ-22 Airborne strike drone, produced by Ukrjet, which is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 800 kilometers. But Russian experts have already refuted this information.

There are also reports that among the vehicles involved in the attack are drones of a new model type of aircraft, which uses a “duck” aerodynamic configuration, is equipped with a gasoline internal combustion engine and carries charges of KZ-6 shape. Some have claimed it is a modified version of the Ukrainian A-2 Sinitsa drone.

InformNapalm international community scouts say that the drones that attacked Moscow in the morning were Chinese and flew from the eastern part of the Moscow region.

The Office of the President of Ukraine stated that Russian UAVs “want to return to their creators” and that not all Russian drones are “ready to attack Ukraine.”

“You know, we are being brought into the era of artificial intelligence. Perhaps not all drones are ready to attack Ukraine and want to return to their creators and it is appropriate to ask the question: “Why are you sending us to hit the children of Ukraine , Kiev and others?” Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the OPU, said on the air of the Breakfast Show program.
