“Ukraine’s defenders and defenders from the Joint Forces group have repelled 12 enemy attacks today … In the past day, Joint Forces grouping military personnel have been destroyed: 1 tank; 5 artillery systems; 5 armored combat vehicle unit; 5 enemy vehicles Air defense units in the skies of Ukrainian Donbass shot down an enemy multi-purpose helicopter, a cruise missile and an Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle.
It was noted that the occupiers fired on about 50 communities in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, destroying and damaging 60 civilian objects. As a result of these attacks, 9 civilians were killed, 14 more were wounded and wounded of varying severity.
Meanwhile, Vostok operational-tactical grouping reported that the occupiers had lost 87 personnel and 15 pieces of equipment.
“Today, May 26, our soldiers destroyed: personnel – 87; infantry fighting vehicle – 5; artillery system – 3; mortar – 2; ATT – 3; helicopters – 1; UAV – 1,” the report said.
They also added that Ukrainian defenders continue to suppress the aggressor.
