To find the strongest characters in the A.D it is necessary to enter the universe of comics and know not only physical capabilities, but also the abilities to control time, to manipulate matter, to dominate the enemy, or even the mastery of surviving the unimaginable.

To facilitate your search for these incredible figures that are practically indestructible, we have selected below five entities, forces, personifications, angels and even human beings that possess indescribable strength. Check out!

1. Dr. Manhattan

Being the alter ego of Jonathan Osterman, Dr. Manhattan first appeared in comics through the “Watchmen” series released between 1986 and 1987.

Having as its origin an accident related to a nuclear physics experiment, the character gained several powers such as non-linear time perception and the ability to atomic manipulation, becoming one of the strongest figures in DC.

The extent of his power could be seen when he faced the entire Justice League, or when he erased heroes from Existence just to test what could happen.

2. The perpetual

Becoming part of DC Comics through the series “The Sandman” published between 1989 and 1996, The Endless are the embodiments of the concepts: Dream, Delirium, Desire, Death, Despair, Destiny and Destruction.

Controlling the concepts they embody, they are described as beings more powerful and older than the gods, because for the divinity to exist, mortals need to believe that they live, since the members of this family inhabit the universe without this need.

3. Spectrum

Created in the 1940s as an alter ego of a police officer named Jim Corrigan, Spectre was revamped in the 1980s into an independent entity that needs a host to acquire physical form.

From then on, Specter’s power gained dimension, as he was presented as an angel named Aztar, who, like Lucifer, rebelled.

However, despite having repented, he received the punishment of representing Divine Wrath, and is granted the same powers as a deity: Omnipresence, control of matter and energy, materialization in objects and creatures, a fact that makes him practically invincible.

Being able to manipulate reality and use it to form new universes just because he wants to, Lucifer can also destroy almost anything with his flames, as well as wielding the power of omniscience that allows him to know almost everything in the universe.
