Vyacheslav Gladkov convinced local residents that he would not be able to get to Shebekino immediately, allegedly because of the lawsuit.
The governor of the Belgorod (Belgorod) region of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Gladkov, assures that he “came under fire” while trying to enter the city of Shebekino. The Russian official said this on his Telegram channel.
“I was only able to enter Shebekino for the second time. The first time, when they entered the city, they were being shot at. I couldn’t even get out of the car. Shells exploded in the nearby street,” a representative of the Russian ruling regime complained.
He also claimed that during the day the city of Shebekino “was shot five times.” As a result of these attacks, it is said that “one person died, three were injured.”
It will be recalled that on May 22, the authorities of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation announced that a “Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group” allegedly entered the border district of Graivoron. The battle seems to have taken place in three villages. A counter-terrorist regime has been operating in the region for almost a day.
The Russian Volunteer Corps and the Legion “Freedom of Russia” announced the start of an operation in the Belgorod region to liberate Russia from the regime of Vladimir Putin. Then the Main Intelligence Directorate said that only the Russians were operating on the territory of the Belgorod region, creating a “safety zone” to protect Ukrainians.
Later, RDK commander Denis White Rex said that the units entered the Belgorod region with a depth of 42 km.
