The inhumane conditions of stay in the detention centers cause the exacerbation of chronic diseases among political prisoners.

Human rights organization CrimeaSOS said that of more than 150 victims of politically motivated persecution in temporarily occupied Crimea, at least 38 have critical illnesses or disabilities, 30 of whom are people over age 50 and pensioners.

It has been noted that the inhumane conditions of stay in the detention centers cause the worsening of chronic diseases among political prisoners.

Recall that the Russians are holding 181 Ukrainian political prisoners in Crimea.

Earlier it was reported that the Crimean political prisoner Jemil Gafarov died in the pre-trial detention center of the Russian Federation.
