The website of the President of Ukraine published the texts of decrees signed by the head of state on the occasion of the Day of the Marine Corps of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

With the aim of worthy honoring the courage and heroism shown during the defense of the state sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity of Ukraine” the badge of honor “For Courage and Courage” was awarded to:
- 406th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Cornet General Aleksey Almazov;
- 35th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mikhail Ostrogradsky;
- 18 separate battalion of marines 35th infantry regiment;
- 137 separate battalion of marines 35th infantry regiment;
- Command of the Marine Corps of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- 140 separate reconnaissance battalion of the KMP.
The rank of Brigadier General was given to Aleksey Androsov, Chief of Staff, Deputy Commander of the Marine Corps of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The title of Hero of Ukraine with the award of the Order of the Golden Star was received by:
- colonel Yuri Andrienko – commander of the 35th infantry regiment,
- Colonel Nikolai Palas – Deputy Commander of the Marine Corps.
