Interior Minister Igor Klymenko in an interview with RBC-Ukraine said that this is a joint initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada. The document is being developed taking into account international experience.
I think that after the end of the war, the state will do everything to remind every citizen what he did during the war. I mean those who illegally crossed the border. I think it will be a law,” Klymenko said.
He hinted that such people may be subject to border crossing restrictions in the future.
They must be held accountable for breaking the law. I think that every citizen wants this and the state will understand if there are any restrictions on the further movement of these citizens at least abroad,” he said.
