The adviser to the head of the Office of the President, Mykhailo Podolyak, said that the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian military has begun and has been going on for several days. Fierce fighting is going on all along the border. This was reported by the Italian TV channel Rai.
“For several days now, a counter-offensive is going on, an intense war is going on along 1,500 kilometers of the border, but the actions have already started,” said Podolyak.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not hit Russian territory with weapons provided by Western partners, but will use them exclusively for the de-occupation of occupied territories.
“We don’t want to strike on Russian territory, we will use the weapons you gave us to destroy the positions of the Russian Federation in the territories occupied by Moscow, including Donbass and Crimea,” he explained.
Podolyak added that Ukraine now has Storm Shadow long-range missiles, Leopard tanks, anti-missile systems.

Earlier, the head of Ukrainian intelligence assured that Ukraine already has the necessary amount of weapons, so the counteroffensive will start soon.
