Border guards at the Shegini checkpoint found a wanted citizen of Ukraine. The man was traveling in Poland as a passenger in a minibus. This was announced on Tuesday, May 23, by the State Border Service.
It was noted that during the passport control in relation to the 62-year-old resident of Sumy, a database was triggered on the list of wanted by law enforcement agencies.
As it happened, this citizen is wanted by the National Police of Ukraine in the framework of criminal proceedings related to the threat of murder, robbery, banditry and cruelty to animals.
The wanted person was handed over to the competent authorities.
Recall that the border guards detained the “evaders” at the Slovakian border.
Border guards are also reported to have blocked two escape channels for “evaders”.
