Zhadan believes that Zaluzhny is aware of his popularity in Ukraine and in the world and treats it with irony.
Ukrainian writer, band frontman Zhadan and Dogs Serhiy Zhadan spoke about his impressions of the conversation with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
“He made a very strong, pleasant impression. Besides, it’s nice to know that this is our commander in chief. I’m a big fan of Valery Fedorovich, and it’s not because he quotes my poems. A simple man, no rustic in any way, unpretentious. We met with him several times, and we had to talk a little not about literature, and not about music. But it is clear that a man has a lot behind his soul , and it’s not just a man in a uniform,” Zhadan said on YouTube channel Straight Chervona.
According to Zhadan, Zaluzhny is aware of his popularity in Ukraine and in the world and treats it rather ironically.
“He knows how to be, take a picture, how to sign, so that it is noticeable, it is done, and he clearly understands why he does it, not because he is a superman and a superhero, but because it is understandable he said that they will take it somewhere and sell it, it will go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the writer added.
Earlier, a video was shown on the network how Zhadan gives Zalugny a book, and he recites the author’s poems by heart.
It can be remembered that Zhadan spoke about the situation in his hometown of Starobelsk, Luhansk region and a classmate who was captured by the so-called “LNR”.
