The president of the aggressor country Russia was told about the breakthrough of the Russian border in the Belgorod region. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in a commentary to Russian media on Monday, May 22.
According to him, the FSB, the Ministry of Defense and border guards reported to Putin, and now work is underway to squeeze “Ukrainian saboteurs” out of Russia and destroy them.
“There are enough forces and means in place,” Peskov assured.
In his opinion, the purpose of this “sabotage” by Ukraine is to divert Russia’s attention from the direction of Bakhmut in order to reduce the political impact of the alleged “loss” of Bakhmut.
Recall that this morning explosions were heard in the village of Zamostye, district of the city of Graivoronsky of the Russian Federation. After that, the place lost its light. And fighters of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK), which helps defend Ukraine, showed footage of their special operation in the Belgorod region.
Later, Ukrainian intelligence announced that an operation had begun to liberate the territories of the Belgorod region from the Putin regime.
