The first stage of the Tiligulskaya wind farm, with a capacity of 114 MW, was launched in the Nikolaev region.
In the Nikolaev region, the first stage of the Tiligul wind farm (WPP) with a capacity of 114 MW was launched. This was announced by the head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving Anna Zamazeeva on Facebook.
“19 wind turbines, 390 million kWh of electricity per year, powering 200,000 households reduced by 400,000 tons of CO emissions2 In the year. This is the result of the launch of only the first stage of the Tiligulskaya wind farm, with a capacity of 114 MW,” he wrote.
This is the first wind farm built during and despite the massive Russian military aggression. Of the 19 wind turbines launched, 13 were installed during martial law following the Russian invasion.
After completing all four planned stages, Ukraine, in addition to generating electricity, will also receive a reduction in CO2 emissions2 of 1.7 million tons per year.
The project initiator plans to increase the total capacity of the wind farm to 500 MW, making it the largest in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.

The Department of State Energy Efficiency developed a draft National Action Plan for the Development of Renewable Energy for the period until 2030, which provides for doubling the share of electricity from renewable sources: from 14% in 2020 to 25 % by 2030. This requires the construction of 9.2 GW of new renewable power facilities, of which 3.7 GW of wind farms.
Recall that in March, DTEK completed the construction of the first phase of the Tiligulskaya wind farm in the Mykolaiv region.
