Prince Charles and Princess Margarita of Romania visited a center for Ukrainian refugees Romexpo in Bucharest. About it on Wednesday, May 25, tells the Air Force.

“The Prince of Wales came to Romania to show his support for Ukrainian refugees and see with his own eyes what kind of help they receive,” the news agency reports.

At the same time, he strongly condemned the war, calling it a “brutal aggression” against Ukraine.

This is the first time such a high-profile royal has visited the region since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, as Bucharest is located about 200 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

The UN reports that 966,000 Ukrainian refugees have entered Romania since the war began. Only Poland received more Ukrainians.
