A McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet has crashed in the Spanish city of Zaragoza. The Spanish Air Force reported it to Twitter on Saturday, May 20th.

“This morning at the Zaragoza airbase there was an accident involving an F-18 from the 15th air wing (Ala 15). The pilot successfully ejected and the plane crashed inside the perimeter of the base,” the report said.

The military later added that the F-18 pilot was already in hospital and that his life was not in danger.

Meanwhile, the crash of the fighter and the explosion on the ground were published on the social network.

Earlier, a MiG-21 fighter of the Indian Air Force crashed into a building in the state of Rajasthan. Then three women died. In turn, the pilot ejected, sustaining minor injuries.

And in South Korea, an American F-16 fighter crashed. The plane crashed in an agricultural area near the Osan air base, located 64 kilometers from the DPRK border.
