In May, the people of Kiev did not hear the air raid sirens for only four days. This was reported by the press service of the KMVA.
The enemy is trying with all his might to defeat key facilities in Kyiv and at the same time deplete our air defense resources. In addition, in this way the rashists seek to keep the civilian population in deep psychological tension, the report says.
This time the rashists, according to preliminary information, used Shahed loitering ammunition. All detected air targets were destroyed by air defense forces, attacks on Kyiv were not allowed.
At the same time, the fall of debris led to the following consequences:
- in the Dnieper region, a residential building caught fire, the fire was eliminated. No casualties;
- in the Darnytskyi district, the service station building was damaged, cars were parked;
- in the Pechersky district there is damage to the windows of a residential building;
- in the Solomensky district, the road surface and vehicles were damaged.
Information about the victims has not yet been received, – said the head of the KMVA Sergey Popko. – Do not remove the work of air defense – this will save both our soldiers and, as a result, your life.
The mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, reported on his Telegram channel at night that a fire broke out on the roof of a nine-story building in one of the residential complexes in the Dnipro district of the capital as a result of falling debris.
