The President of the EC expressed his view on the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine

Ursula von der Leyen mentioned the need to support Volodymyr Zelensky’s peace formula.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said at the G7 summit that any negotiations should be rejected after Russia’s war against Ukraine, recognizing the aggressor and the victim.

“We all want this war to end. Ukrainians want peace more than anything – but, of course, a fair one. Peace talks that distinguish between aggressor and victim must be rejected. We must support the efforts of President Zelensky to get support for his peace formula,” he said. .

The head of the EC urged to provide Ukraine with military and financial support.

According to him, the European Commission proposed a law on the production of ammunition, according to which the defense industry of EU member states should increase the production of artillery shells.

It should be remembered that 46 countries supported the peace formula of President Volodymyr Zelensky.

As reported, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President, Mikhail Podolyak, commented on the “peace initiatives” of the heads of states of the world and noted that one should not “invent what already exists.”
