However, the enemy managed to establish production, despite international sanctions. Thus, fragments of missiles used by the aggressor indicate that they have just left the assembly line. These are ammo made in the first quarter of 2023. Vadim Skibitsky, Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated this on May 19 in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, Russia now has the capacity to produce about 25 Caliber cruise missiles, two Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, 35 Kh-101 cruise missiles and five 9M723 ballistic missiles up to Iskander-M on a monthly basis. Twice a month, the occupiers ship “Caliber” to the Crimea.
Skibitsky added that the Russians have arranged the supply of components for the production of missile weapons, despite international sanctions.
Recall that the GUR stated that Russia continues to buy microchips with GLONASS support thanks to numerous front companies and distributors. Parts for Russian missiles are produced by companies from the United States, Switzerland and Canada.
